System Analyst – Intelligent Automation (f/m/d)
📍 Vienna, Austria
You're the one who reads the system like a book – not just the code, but how it all fits together.
Our client is developing a physical system that automatically identifies, sorts, and packages LEGO parts using computer vision, embedded systems, and modern web technology. A functioning prototype is already in place – now it's time to build the foundation for scale.
To support this next phase, we’re looking for a System Analyst who can bring clarity to complexity: structuring requirements, documenting system logic, and serving as the critical link between engineering, product, and business.
Your Role
- Explore how the system works – from hardware signals to software responses
- Analyze and structure technical requirements from internal stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with an international development team
- Write clear, structured documentation (Confluence) for:
- System architecture
- Interfaces & data flows (HTTP APIs, CAN bus, etc.)
- Feature behavior & edge cases
- Break down features into actionable Jira tickets (goals & acceptance criteria)
- Participate in sprint planning, technical grooming, and release coordination
- Maintain the technical knowledge base and evolve documentation standards
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience as a System Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar
- Strong ability to structure complex systems and translate them into clear documentation
- Solid understanding of:
- Microcontrollers and CAN bus communication
- Web architecture (Laravel, React, MySQL)
- HTTP APIs and system interactions
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (C1+)
- A proactive mindset – you're the type who notices inconsistencies before others do
- You don’t need to code – but you understand enough to challenge and support those who do
Nice to Have
If you've worked with Python or Qt, or if you've explored embedded systems or industrial automation – great. Experience in early-stage startups or computer vision projects is a plus. Ukrainian language skills are welcome, but not required.
Why this role matters
- You'll work directly with the founder – a senior developer and system architect
- You’ll be the first dedicated Analyst on the project – helping define how the product scales
- You'll bring clarity and structure to a highly technical environment
- You'll work on a physical system with real-world impact – not just software abstractions
Ready to work on something real, complex, and full of impact?
Send your CV and portfolio to sandra@indivhr.com or apply directly online. We usually respond within a few days – and yes, you'll speak with real engineers.
